Talk show with Balgandharva team.

     Nitin Chandrakant Desai's Balgandharva movie brought Gandharva era on Silver screen and revived the legendary singer's memory in masses. As the film became super hit as expected, all cast and crew was eager to share their memorable experience with media and people. For this purpose, an event titled "Asa Balgandharva ata na hone" was organized at Gadkari Rangayatan, Thane. On 1st of July, 2011, all theatre was full of Gadharva fans.

     Naresh Mhaske, President Virat Samajik and Sanskrutik Manch, Thane and Rangai organised this talk show where Producer Nitin Desai, Director Ravi Jadhav, Cinematographer Mahesh Limaye, Music Director Kaushal Inamdar, and Actor Subodh Bhave shared their valuable thoughts with people. Singer Anad Bhate, Varda Godbole and Madhura also attended the event and performed charmful songs from the movie.

Actor Subodh Bhave;

     It was great experience to present Balgandharva to you. He was not only singer and actor but a man who gifted the new edge to Marathi theatre world through his outstanding acts and by introducing avish sets and perfumes on the stage. Balgandharva entertained audience without any expectation of returns. He made classical music popular among the masses.

     I worked  for about 16 hours a day with 27 meter sari during making of movie. I met Anuradha Rajhans, Ustad Ajijuddin Khan and Nutan Gandharva to get more information about him. I loosed my 22 kg weight in two months. While performing Gandharva on screen I felt myself in his character. The shooting started on 9th november which is my Birthdate also!

Producer Nitin Desai;

     I am in this industry from last 25years old, I wanted to start production with such a huge topic. Mr. Bhave gave me the right choice. our team of 250 members has given 100% to this film by giving their 20 hours from a day for shooting. we spent 3 crore for this film. on the last day of shooting, we all came together and literally cried.

Singer Anand Bhate;

     It was great responsibility over me to create a magic of Balgandharva's voice. Balgandharva has been my idol and my teacher Pandit Bhimsen Joshi always treated him as his teacher.

Music Director Koushal Inamdar;

     For my generation, making music for such songs was huge challenge. After hearing his all records, I tried to draw his personality through music

     In the event, Stage songs like Nath Ha Maza, Khara To Prema, Sujan Kasa Man Chori, Vad Jau Kunala Sharan, Kashi Ya Tyaju Padala, Johar Maybap were performed by Anand Bhate.
