"Balgandharva" at International Film Festival of India, Goa.

     Marathi movie “Balgandharva: Sound of heaven” have started receiving honors and collecting awards. Movie will be presented in Indian Panorama section of this year’s International Film Festival of India in Goa.

     The jury headed by Sai Paranjpye has chosen 23 films out of a total of 118 eligible entries.  Marathi movies will be represented with “Baboo Band Baaja” (Rajesh Pinjani) and “Taryanche Bait” (Kiran Yadnyopavit).

     The festival will be organised in Margao cities of Goa including Panaji from 23rd November  to 3ed of December , 2011.

Balgandharva: pat on back at Mifta Awards 2011

     2nd Marathi International Films and Theater Award (MIFTA) is organised at London. MIFTA is the joint endeavor of famed film director and renowned actor Mr. Mahesh Manjrekar – owner of Ashwami Films, and Mr. Abhijeet Patil, Chairman of Raja Rani Travels.

       The captivating music of this year’s much-awaited movie - BalGandharva received two awards at Mifta awards, 2011.

Best Background Score 

     Kaushal Inamdar received MIFTA award 2011 for Best Background Score for BALGANDHARVA along with Aditya Oak and Bhavesh Bhatt.

 Best Playback Singer

     Anand Bhate receives Best Playback Singer Award for CHINMAYA SAKAL HRUDAYA and Bela Shende receives Best Playback Singer Award for AAJ MHARE GHAR PAVANA.
